Taste of Anatomy: Open Your Shoulders for Yoga

The shoulders are potentially among the most flexible joints in the body, and we need every bit of their mobility in yoga poses. However, many students come to yoga with tight shoulders, and need specific help to identify which poses to practice to improve flexibility. After studying some anatomy of the shoulders, we will practice poses to open them in all 3 dimensions. Your new flexibility will improve your poses and make challenging poses more accessible! 

Props: mat, strap, blanket, block and chair.
